The Facts on NOMID

NOMID stands for Neonatal-Onset Multisystem Inflammatory Disease. NOMID can also be called CINCA, which stands for Chronic Infantile Neurological Cutaneous Articular Syndrome. NOMID/CINCA is the most severe type of CAPS.2

People with NOMID/CINCA almost always start having symptoms from birth.2 A doctor may diagnose NOMID/CINCA quickly in a newborn because symptoms are often more noticeable than in FCAS or MWS.8,9
